Bugatti have a record breaking reputation. This innovative car set to release is yet another record breaker as it the engine has 1,800 HP and has define again what the hypercar will be for the next generations. Bugatti shocked the world in the past when the Veyron came out in September of 2005. The 1000 HP engine was a marvel of brand new engineering and all the way we see the car was changed. Since then, Bugatti have doubled down on their record breaking cars. The newest car set for release is from an all new Bugatti that has united with Rimac.

How long has Bugatti been breaking records in the automotive world?

Bugatti was by origin founded by Ettore Bugatti in 1909. He founded the company in Molsheim, France and the headquarters are still based there. Every single Bugatti on the roads is manufactured in Molsheim. The company’s focus from the beginning was making luxury and racing cars. Their first success came in the Grand Prix de Lyon in 1924 with the iconic Bugatti Type 35.

In the years that continued the company’s success intiated to fade until in the 1990’s, Romano Artioli brought the brand back to the public’s notedwith the EB110. What followed that was a string of successful cars that led to them designing and creating the first car in the world with 1000 HP, the Veyron. The Veyron was really a huge engineering advance and was leaps and bounds ahead of anything else in the game.

The Veyron’s engine was the real star of the show. It was primarly two engines that were smashed together to create the monster that powered the Veyron. In addition, they then continued to set records with the Chiron. Which took everything that was good about the Veyron and turned it all the way up. Nevertheless, the world was left to ask how much more Bugatti could do to modify the car after the Chiron? The automotive world is moving towards an alternative fuel incoming times.

The way Bugatti have managed to make this new $4 Million dollar car

What truly makes this new car set for release so diverse to the record breaking cars they have been known for, is the engine. Once again Bugatti have revolutionised the engine wirld. In 2021 Bugatti broke away from the Volkswagen Group and joined forces with all electric supercar maker, Rimac. Mate Rimac turned into the CEO of the recent company named as Bugatti Rimac.

Rimac’s cars were really incredible and gave the world a glimpse of what the all electric supercar was able of. And it was capable of quite a lot. Their first car had more than 1000 HP which put it in the same league, and price bracket, as a Bugatti. By the time the two companies joined forces, the world was excited to see what they could come up with.

The innovative car will be named the Tourbillon and has a huge, 16-cylinder gas engine that is partnered with another three electric motors. Each electric motor produces 800 HP on their own. They removed the turbo chargers in favor for a naturally aspirated engine. The result is a car selling for around $4 million that has 1,800 HP. That will maintain the record setting for Bugatti.
