With the rising cost of living, US President Donald Trump announced financial aid as part of a federal program that would involve a $1,000 income. All within the framework of the One Big Beautiful Bill. This financial stimulus will be available in all 50 states and is still pending approval.
The One Big Beautiful Bill proposes a solution to help families boost savings for their future children. Faced with the difficulty families face in coping with the rising cost of living, many young couples choose not to have children due to the costs associated with raising a baby. This is where the new law comes in.
This payment would be a guarantee for qualifying families
Contrary to rumors about a $5,000 stimulus payment, which have not been confirmed by any official federal source, if this bill passes the next round of voting in the Senate and is signed into law by President Trump, this payment would be a guarantee for qualifying families.
It’s important to remember that the One Big Beautiful Bill is a collection of different laws that affect almost every aspect of the United States social system. This is not just about this economic aid. This legislative project, pending approval, includes changes to the healthcare system, border security, tax cuts, the elimination of tip taxes, tax deductions for the purchase of vehicles manufactured in the United States, among others.
Not only does it cut Taxes for all Americans, but it will kick millions of Illegal Aliens off of Medicaid
About this law, Donald Trump said: Republicans must unite behind, “The one big beautiful bill!” Not only does it cut Taxes for all Americans, but it will kick millions of Illegal Aliens off of Medicaid to protect it for those who are the ones in real need. The Country will suffer greatly without this Legislation, with their Taxes going up 65%. It will be blamed on the Democrats, but that doesn’t help our Voters. We don’t need “grandstanders” in the Republican Party. Stop talking and get it done! It is time to fix the mess that Biden and the Democrats gave us. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” For his part, John Kennedy, Republican senator, said: “Imagine a 3,000-piece puzzle without an image. That’s what we’re trying to put together.”
Who is eligible for this aid?
They must be individuals who had a child born between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2028. The child must be a U.S. citizen, and both parents must have a Social Security number. These new savings accounts, also known as “Trump Accounts,” are designed to help families save for their children’s future. Families will have the option to make annual contributions to the accounts, as long as they do not exceed $5,000.
The bill includes changes to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), which feeds more than 41 million people, a reduction in the SALT cap, changes to Medicaid, and the implementation of energy tax credits.
One of the bill’s biggest criticisms from critics is its expected impact on low-income people. The bill would not only include cuts to Medicaid but would also make it more difficult to qualify for SNAP, while 80% of the bill’s economic benefits would only affect the top 10% of Americans.
