Two Wisconsin voters received million-dollar checks from Elon Musk. The £772,000 payments were made by Mr. Musk, a top adviser to the US president, in advance of an election to the Wisconsin Supreme Court. During a rally on Sunday, the tech billionaire presented the election as crucial to both the future of civilization and President Donald Trump’s program. This is not the first time that Musk has given away money to voters; before the US presidential election in November, he made a similar offer in battleground states.
Elon Musk hands out $1 million checks in Wisconsin due to a political earthquake in the middle of the campaign.
Despite legal attempts to stop the giveaways, a judge at the time decided that they could go on. Mr. Musk informed the audience that the election was extremely important since the Republican majority in the House of Representatives was “razor thin,” while sporting a yellow foam cheese hat, which is symbolic of the state and the Green Bay Packers American football club. Additionally, he stated that if the Supreme Court of Wisconsin is permitted to redraw the boundaries, it will gerrymander the district and deny Wisconsin two Republican seats.
Wisconsin’s Democratic attorney general, Josh Kaul, filed an appeal against Musk’s giveaway, but the Supreme Court of Wisconsin rejected it just minutes before the demonstration was scheduled to begin, ending the legal dispute. Mr. Kaul claimed that Wisconsin law forbids paying anything of value to persuade someone to cast a ballot, but the court rejected the argument as an original action without justification. The lawyers for Mr. Musk contended that he was exercising his right to free expression and that the payments were intended to create a grassroots movement against activist judges.
Mr. Musk and organizations he supports have spent over $20 million (£15.4 million) on Wisconsin’s fiercely contested election, which is scheduled for Tuesday. Mr. Musk stated in a post on X on Friday that he would “personally hand over” two million dollars to two voters who had already put in their ballots. However, he then defended his stance, stating that the funds will instead be used to support “spokesmen” for an internet campaign against “activist” judges. One of the people who received a check at the rally was a man from Green Bay who has previously posted support for Mr. Trump and his program and has donated to both the state’s Republican party and the conservative candidate in the court race. With over $81 million (£62.5 million) spent, the ballot surpassed national spending records for a judicial election.
Elon Musk has announced that the Social Security scammer faces imminent arrest
According to Elon Musk, an accused con artist who allegedly sold the Social Security information of 400,000 Americans is about to be arrested. Elon Musk expects an arrest tomorrow following the theft of 400,000 Social Security numbers and personal information from the Social Security database. Wisconsin is hosting a high-stakes Supreme Court election on Tuesday, which will determine whether the state’s highest court has a liberal or conservative majority by filling a retiring justice’s seat.
Elon Musk was responding to a call from a constituent in Wisconsin who wanted to know if Attorney General Pam Bondi planned to investigate and prosecute Social Security theft. According to a March report by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which Musk helps lead and which investigates government fraud and overspending, “there is a massive amount of fraud” involving alleged scammers submitting fake Social Security numbers to receive federal benefits.
During the call, Elon Musk provided no further information about the alleged fraudster. Fox News Digital reached out to the Department of Justice to inquire about any investigations into Social Security fraud claims and whether the department was preparing to make arrests, but did not immediately receive a response.
