Burger King has announced a new take on one of its most storied burgers. The company has announced the new BBQ Brisket Whopper, the first menu item created through its newly launched “Whopper by You” platform. This new burger is a customer-focused experience and is also available in a Whopper Jr. version. The platform is now officially available to customers across the United States, allowing users to submit ideas for new Whopper burgers. The burger giant is now allowing customers to directly influence menu innovations.

Participants in the “Whopper by You” program can also access exclusive rewards, such as special Royal Perks, which can include offers like $0.01 Whoppers every week for a year or free sandwiches with purchase. A Royal Perks account is required, and participants must be 18 or older.

“Whopper by You” empowers guests to help shape the menu at Burger King by submitting their dream Whopper creations. Whether it’s a spicy twist, a craveable remix, a cheese-loaded mashup, or anything in between, all creative culinary dreams are encouraged and welcome,” reads Burger King’s official statement. With this initiative, the company incentivizes consumer purchases while also demonstrating its commitment to them. It listens to them and makes them part of the entire experience.

(Weight based on pre-cooked patty) flame-grilled beef patty with lettuce, tomato and creamy mayo. And, for the first time, BK is offering its new Whopper innovation as a Whopper Jr., with all the same mouthwatering ingredients for those seeking a smaller taste of BBQ goodness.
